Have you ever wondered why excellent food tastes better than average, or even bad, food? There are many reasons for this, but without getting complicated, most of them boil down to seasoning and flavoring. And in particular, whether the seasoning is well done or not.
Rosemary, thyme and oregano bring out the flavor molecules in food. The ingredients work together to create a deep, roasted flavor that enhances the flavor of a dish.
Great seasoning makes everything better…but at least it needs those spices to do it. It's always nice to have some great new foods in your life, but I'd like for your cooking to be as good as possible without having to resort to being an 'aspired' chef (yes, that's a word).
Sure, I might be a bit biased here because I'm a cook. But really, it's my job to help people maximize the flavors in their meals by using seasoning ingredients like spices, vinegars and more.
Happy Seasoning!
